I build bridges between manufacturing workshops and modern AI — leading an Additive-Manufacturing platform for the Alexandria University community.
I'm the technical brain driving the ALX FFF platform (Alexandria Layer Xperiments). Combining a deep foundation in production engineering with applied AI, I led the development of the platform's conversational Human-Machine Interface (HMI) — integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with cloud infrastructure to bridge complex manufacturing algorithms with intuitive digital interfaces, enabling seamless interaction within intelligent manufacturing systems.
With hands-on experience spanning additive manufacturing optimization, industrial metrology, and full-stack system architecture, I translate workshop precision into modern digital workflows. My engineering focus centers on driving Industry 4.0 innovations: automating CAD/CAM cost calculations, fine-tuning FDM slicer pipelines, and embedding real-time AI intelligence into practical manufacturing and quality-control operations.
The largest integrated interactive platform for Additive Manufacturing in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa — built for the Alexandria University community. ALX FFF unifies smart AI-driven tools with real manufacturing workflows, from design-for-AM guidance to slicing and cost estimation, all through one conversational interface.
My role: Founder & Project Team Leader — platform architecture, LLM-powered HMI, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven manufacturing tooling.
